‘I FEEL SORRY FOR THOSE WITH ONE WIFE’ – Ned Nwoko

Senator Ned Nwoko has sparked controversy by expressing sympathy for monogamous men, stating that having multiple wives provides greater stability in life, much like “standing on two, three, or four legs” versus just one.
The Delta North lawmaker made these comments during an appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Sunday, where he openly discussed his polygamous lifestyle and recent marital challenges.
“I feel sorry for those who have one wife. Just imagine standing on one leg — it’s difficult. But with two, three, or four, you’re more balanced. That’s the example I give,” Nwoko stated.
When questioned about biblical perspectives on polygamy, he responded, “The Old Testament does. I am a man of faith. But that’s not what we are here for.”
Nwoko, who is married to four women including actress Regina Daniels, firmly stated he has no regrets about his marital choices. “No, I don’t have any regret. I would do the same thing again. You should marry who you want to marry,” he affirmed.
The senator also addressed recent domestic violence allegations involving Regina Daniels, firmly denying the claims. “I am not a violent person. I respect my wives and love them and my kids,” he said.
His comments come amid ongoing public speculation about his marriage following Regina Daniels’ recent social media post showcasing a new mansion where she declared, “In my house, I am a queen,” a statement many interpreted as asserting her independence amid the marital tension.
