Ghanaian actress Efia Odo surprised everyone by disclosing the details of her 2019 wedding.
Talking on her podcast, the owner of the restaurant revealed that she tied the knot with a financially struggling man in 2019. Efia stated that the marriage survived for two more years following her discovery of his infidelity.
“I was married in 2019. It was a private wedding with close family and friends. The man I married was broke and didn’t have anything. But I married him because I loved him and I thought love was enough to sustain the marriage. But he cheated on me on multiple occasions. That was when I asked for a divorce”. Efia narrated.
Efia admitted that her naivety led her to marry a poor man who ultimately cheated on her. Her assertion was that he was seeking financial support by engaging in relationships with wealthy women.
“ I was young and naïve when married him. But not anymore. Now I don’t date broke men. If he can’t provide for himself, why would he provide for me?”. She added.
