Efya’s announcement comes at a time when other music superstars including Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale and Mr Eazi have all established their own record labels.

A vocal powerhouse, who consistently delivers captivating performances, Efya’s new label is set to showcase her talents and dedication to a new crop of audience and will take charge of her marketing, partnerships, and distribution deals.

She, however, failed to disclose the name of the label to AJ on the show.

The ‘Best In Me’ singer also in the past debunked the assertion that she and other Ghanaian musicians including R2Bees were signed unto Wizkid’s record label, Starboy Worldwide.

According to Efya, the Starboy Worldwide project was a collective endeavor led by like-minded artists, with the common goal of promoting African music as a whole, rather than being associated with any individual artist.
