Ghanaian vocal powerhouse, Irene Logan insists that doing gospel music is the new path she has chosen for herself in her career is a decision she has made and will not turn back.
You would recall how Irene Logan was one of the most sought-after singers after she participated in the ‘Stars of the Future’ reality show and was once paired with VGMA winner, Efya who was also a participant in the reality show.
She went on a music break for a long time but her performance at the funeral of late ex-president Jerry John Rawlings became the talk of social media with many praising her for her irreplaceable singing talent.
However, in a recent exchange with fans on Twitter after she announced a performance she was going to stage at the Entertainment Achievers Awards tonight, where said she was going to perform gospel songs, a fan pleaded with her to give a rendition of her old songs.
Irene Logan replied: “Awww.. I made a decision to sing for Christ. And from here on out it’s ministry for me”.
