Singer Stephanie Benson, who is Ghanaian-American because she has lived all her life in the US, has spoken out about her struggle with cancer and other illnesses that have left her with several scars.
Stephanie Benson, a well-known social-butterfly celebrity, startled her admirers by disclosing her illness and her fight against cancer.
Stephanie Benson shared a video on her Instagram page encouraging people to accept themselves no matter what they look like or what happens to them.
The singer admitted that, despite always being joyful, she hasn’t always been as wonderful as many have presumed. Stephanie Benson revealed that despite having numerous physical scars, she likes who she is. She admitted that she has scars on both of her breasts.
Also, she had a scar on her abdomen from childbirth and a hysterectomy; a procedure to remove her womb so as to survive cancer.
She further showed another portion of her waist with a scare where she was cut by doctors for a hormone infusion into her body to survive. Also, Stephanie showed another scar on her knee and face where she said she got them from failing off a motorbike.
