Pappy Kojo explained why he stopped going to church, attributing his decision to the impact of Avram Ben Moshe, a Pan-Africanist, motivational speaker, and leader of the Common Sense Family.
This group discusses religious beliefs and encourages a critical perspective on traditional teachings.
During a Kingdom FM interview, Pappy Kojo disclosed that his beliefs changed after hearing Avram Ben Moshe’s teachings.
“I’m not born again. I began listening to Avram Moshe during his teachings and interviews, and I found myself influenced by what he shared. He speaks the truth, and when you pay attention to him, you realize his words make sense,” Pappy Kojo said.
He added that Avram Ben Moshe’s ideas now guide his way of thinking, saying, “His teachings align with the wisdom I try to live by, and that’s why I follow them.”
The rapper also shared that his new outlook has created a distance between him and Christianity.
“I’ve not taken Christ because of the teachings of Avram Ben Moshe. The teachings have made it difficult for us to accept Christ and Christianity. I don’t remember the last time I went to church.
It is not serious; he speaks the truth, and he is full of wisdom, and since I live by the tenets of wisdom, I am inclined to believe what he says,” he told Fiifi Pratt on Kingdom FM.
