Ghanaian actor, fashion entrepreneur and reality TV star, Elikem Kumordzie has lauded colleague and friend, Salma Mumin for taking legal action against actress and TV presenter, Xandy Kamel for defamation.
As reported earlier, Salma Mumin slapped Xandy Kamel with a lawsuit after the latter publicly declared without fear or favor on national television that Salma Mumin sleeps with older men for money.
Salma Mumin, on Wednesday May 26 filed a lawsuit against Xandy Kamel and Angel TV for defamation of character.
According to a writ by Salma Mumin’s legal counsel, Gawuga Law, Xandy Kamel passed some defamatory statements about her on her show on Angel TV on March 13, 2021.
It also ordered Angel TV to remove from its archives be it electronic or whatever form the said defamatory statement and in addition pay out compensatory damages in excess of GHC1 million.
Reacting to this development which is still making headlines on various new outlets, Elikem the Tailor expressed that it is his prayer that Xandy Kamel is eventually found guilty and prosecuted and he pointed to the fact that such foolishness must be put to an end.
Sighted on his Instagram page, he wrote;
“I hope the girl in questions is prosecuted, found guilty and even jailed. This nkwasias3m and nkrasis3m must stop. Well done @salmamumin, I’m happy you are my “virtual wife”. I chose you well,”
