I HUGGED KUAMI EUGENE 30 MINUTES– Joyce Blessing On Her Reaction To New Song

Ghanaian gospel musician Joyce Blessing has shared how she showed her appreciation to artiste Kuami Eugene for writing her new song, ‘Victory’.

According to Joyce Blessing, she expressed her gratitude by giving Kuami Eugene a heartfelt 30-minute hug when she met him in his studio and heard the song. During her appearance as a guest artist on UTV’s United Showbiz program, she was amazed by the effort and dedication Kuami Eugene had put into composing the song.

Furthermore, she highlighted that some artists charge fees for writing songs for their colleagues, but Kuami Eugene did it out of goodwill and did not ask for any payment, neither for writing the song nor for the direction of the music video.

She said, “When I got there and listened to the song, in fact, I began to cry because the song touched my heart and I hugged him for 30 minutes. I was so impressed with what he did because I know it’s not easy for an artist to write a song for another colleague artist and so I felt really grateful how he even gave me the song without taking revenue and other things.”
