Andrew Cudjoe known in showbiz as a member of the music group, Keche, has revealed that he influenced his wife’s decision to venture into politics.

Mrs Joana Gyan Cudjoe, contested and won the parliamentary primaries at Amenfi Central in the Western Region on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Talking to Amansan Krakye in an interview, he said “I encouraged my wife to venture into politics because she’s been doing a lot of things for the people in her village.

“Those that she’s taking care of their education, sacrificing for them with her own money but I told her you can’t use your own money because we have to save for the future.

“I said there are certain things which are responsibilities of government and so you have to just enter into government and work to help your people.

“So I was one of the people who influenced the decision but already she had that idea in mind to be a member of parliament,” he said on Property FM in Cape Coast seen by MyNewsGh.com.
