Founder and Leader of the Glorious Word and Power Ministry, Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah has made a commitment to keep the winner of the 2024 elections a secret.
He believes that God has disclosed the victor of the general elections to him, but he refuses to predict or share this information with the public.
He clarified that his choice is not influenced by the criticisms and attacks he receives from Ghanaians following his prophetic statements.
Rev. Owusu Bempah revealed this information during a conversation on Okay FM.
“I know the reason for my decision not to predict the winner of this year’s election. Although I know who the winner is, I will not disclose it. I will only share this information with individuals if I meet them.
“Even my church members don’t know my political alignment for this year. I have decided not to prophesy about the election, so I am quietly observing those predicting victories for the NDC and NPP. And my decision is not because of what the Peace Council and Christian Council said.”
He argued that prophecies do not create issues but warn individuals about future events, enabling them to be more careful.
Nonetheless, he expressed disapproval of the Inspector General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, for forbidding pastors from making prophetic declarations regarding the elections.
“That is why I always say I will never agree with what Dampare said about pastors not making prophetic declarations that could cause trouble. No prophecy causes trouble; rather, it informs people of what is to come so they can be cautious.” he added.
