‘I LOST EVERYTHING AFTER PROPHESYING MAHAMA’S RETURN’ – Nigel Gaisie
Prophet Nigel Gaisie, founder of the Prophetic Hill Chapel, has opened up about the hardships he endured after prophesying John Mahama’s return as Ghana’s President.
In an emotional interview on Ghana Se Sen with Kwame Tanko on Lawson TV/Radio, Gaisie recounted how his prophecy led to public backlash, arrests, and the loss of his livelihood.
“The NPP shattered lives and crushed spirits,” he said. “We are human beings with families. If someone makes a mistake, let the law take its course—not destroy their work and dignity.”
Gaisie revealed that he faced verbal abuse during multiple arrests, naming a specific officer, Superintendent Asare, and calling for accountability. “I pray he seeks forgiveness for the way I was treated,” he added.
The prophet lamented the toll of these experiences, saying, “Everything I had is ruined—all because I shared what God revealed to me.”
Calling for fairness in Ghana’s political and religious spaces, Gaisie urged citizens to hold leaders accountable without targeting individuals unjustly.
His revelations have sparked widespread debate online, with discussions centering on freedom of speech, political influence, and the role of religion in governance.
