Ghanaian billionaire Richard Nii Armah Quaye has addressed rumors about giving large payments to musicians who played at his recent luxurious birthday party at Black Star. Square.
In a conversation with Blakk Rasta, a Ghanaian musician and journalist who talked about it on his Black Pot show, Richard clarified these points.
Richard Quaye wants everyone to know that the rumors are false, and he asks Ghanaians to ignore them completely.
Richard emphasizes that the musicians who attended his birthday party are his good friends. There was no business discussion with them, just friendship.
He simply invited the musicians, and they were happy to come and celebrate with him.
He pointed out that he has had a strong friendship with both Davido and Diamond for the last 5 years. Because of this, they didn’t ask for payment when he invited them to his party.
In Diamond’s case, Richard mentioned that the only thing Diamond requested was for him to send a private jet to pick him up.
