Piesie Esther, a well-known gospel singer shared an unexpected piece of knowledge regarding her career.
During an interview on “Upside Down,” an entertainment and lifestyle show co-hosted by Frema Adunyame and Nana Tuffour on Citi TV, she revealed she never thought she would succeed as a musician.
Piesie Esther, who started her musical career at the age of sixteen, was raised in a very pious home and developed a deep appreciation for spirituality.
Her career objectives and musical abilities were shaped by her teenage years spent attending several gospel performances. Her string of albums and hits throughout the years have brought her praise from both domestic and foreign audiences.
Piesie Esther won the Gospel Artiste of the Year award in 2023; Black Sherif just missed out on the coveted Artiste of the Year title.
She is a proud mother of four children and is happily married to Enoch Asiedu.
Piesie Esther astonishingly admitted that she never envisioned herself achieving such immense stardom in the gospel music industry.
The conversation took a hopeful turn as she mentioned a pivotal figure in her life, “I never dreamt of being such a great person… Because it was difficult to even get food to eat…There was this musician Mama Georgia… She saw the potential in me, even when I couldn’t see it myself. I was singing with Mama Georgia before she introduced me to Apae Live.”
According to her, It was pastor Apae Live who “helped me to release my first album in 2002”
