MY PERFORMANCE AT NDC MANIFESTO LAUNCH WAS STRICTLY BUSINESS – OliveTheBoy

Sensational Ghanaian singer, OliveTheBoy explained that he was solely at the UPSA auditorium yesterday for the NDC youth manifesto launch performance and not to show support for the party or its flagbearer.

The Goodsin hitmaker performed his songs before the release, but some interpreted it as endorsing the NDC and John Mahama.

Due to the current election season, there is a widespread belief that these artists are seizing the chance to profit and would be willing to align with any political party in exchange for financial gain.

Despite their claims and allegations, OliveTheBoy stated that he had never supported President Mahama before the elections.

He stated that the NDC required his assistance, so they compensated him to fulfill his responsibilities.

“I haven’t endorsed NDC. It was strictly business. I was hired to perform at the event. It was just like me going to Accravaganza or Afrochella to perform. It was the same thing.” He said on Okay FM.

He also stated that his services are still available to the NPP or any other political party should they need them.

“If NPP or CPP calls me, I will go and perform. I am not political. It was not an endorsement,” he concluded.
