Ghanaian entrepreneur, Afua Asantewaa, has shared an encounter she had with the former Deputy Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Mark Okraku Mantey.

In an interview with Accra FM, Afua Asantewaa expressed her disappointment when Mark Okraku-Mantey suggested she pursue beauty pageantry.
According to her, Mark’s remarks came after she sang a song by award-winning Ghanaian musician, Becca during her Sing-a-thon attempt.
“I sang a song by Becca, and Mark Okraku-Mantey advised me to consider beauty pageantry. His words hurt me.” she reportedly lamented.
