I SOMETIMES REGRET MENTORING PEOPLE – Ohemaa Mercy

Renowned Ghanaian Gospel artist, Ohemaa Mercy has revealed the difficulties she encounters while mentoring young talents.

During a sincere conversation with host Bernice Owusuwaa on GhanaWeb TV’s Talkertainment, she admitted to experiencing numerous moments of regret in her mentoring journey.

Nevertheless, she affirmed her dedication to being a mentor because of a divine message she received in 2020.

“I’m a mother and for me, God gave me a revelation about four years ago when I saw myself with a lot of breasts all around me, I prayed and the Lord gave me a revelation that he had made me a mother,” she shared.

Viewing herself as a mother and her mentees as her own children, Ohemaa Mercy stated that this realization has influenced her mentorship style, enabling her to accept the duties that come with it.

“I always pray to God to give me that big heart, to be able to contain every bit of thing that comes my way in terms of a mother and a son and a daughter relationship. So for me, yes, sometimes you regret, but you can’t let go of a daughter or a son,” she said.

She is a firm believer in the necessity of aiding and mentoring the upcoming generation, despite the expected difficulties.
