I WAS WRONG TO THINK AKUFO-ADDO COULD SURPASS KWAME NKRUMAH’S LEGACY – Media Personality, KOD

After publicly supporting the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and sparking online debates, media personality, Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD) is still working hard to garner backing for his party in the upcoming 2024 election.

KOD has shown deep disappointment towards the NPP, a party he previously highly respected, as he works to gain more support for the NDC.

KOD, who had previously endorsed the NPP and cast their vote in the previous election, expressed optimism that the party could propel the country beyond the time of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.

Reflecting on his past support in an interview with CitiFM’s Bernard Avle, KOD remarked, “I had the chance to hear him discuss his plans for the creative sector and the orange economy. I genuinely believed he would perform well… Yes, I supported him,” he noted.

He added, “With strong conviction, I thought if anyone was going to elevate this country beyond the level set by Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, it would have been Nana Akufo-Addo.”
