Evangelist Mama Pat, widely recognised as Nana Agradaa, the founder and head of Heaven Way Church, has pledged to sell her church property and allocate half of the proceeds to the acting CEO of Goldbod, Sammy Gyamfi, to launch a business if he is dismissed from his role for gifting her $800.
Sammy Gyamfi is facing significant criticism following the emergence of a video showing him giving large amounts of money to the fetish priestess-turned-pastor Patricia Asiedua, popularly known as Nana Agradaa.
Speaking in a self-record video Agradaa stated, “Some senior NDC party members are jealous of Sammy Gyamfi’s position and want to use this act of kindness – the $800 gift he gave me as a reason to get him sacked.
Sammy Gyamfi has expressed his genuine remorse for the regrettable incident of indiscretion.
He disclosed that the money donated to Nana Agradaa represents his daily and lifelong practice of assisting those in need.
“Folks, I have taken notice of the wave of criticisms against my person in the last 24 hours. To clarify, this was simply a kind gesture to a fellow human being, in line with my daily and life-long custom of lending a helping hand to people in need.
I sincerely thought that I was doing this act of kindness in private and never imagined that same could find its way into the public space. That is unfortunate and regrettable,” he stated.
