The present Mayor of Kumasi, Mr. Richard Agyemang Boadi, stated that he will never apologise to Ghanaians.
This follows the Kumasi Mayor trending on social media after a statement he made publicly.
The Kumasi Mayor declared that he would take action against Kumasi traders who failed to adhere to his rules and regulations, addressing anyone at sea.
He remarked that he opposes those who sell on the streets, in both Kejetia and Adum.
He cautioned that this kind of behaviour must be halted immediately; therefore, he would punish anyone he caught not following his orders.
During an interview on Angel FM, as reported by Gh Page, the Mayor of Kumasi expressed that he finds no reason to apologise to Ghanaians.
He stated that, although he won’t beat anyone as he initially claimed, he will make sure no one sells on the streets of Kejetia and Adum.
