Hip-hop singer Teephlow from Ghana has addressed speculations regarding his music career, specifically addressing conversations about his time spent residing in the United States.
In response to assertions from fellow Ghanaians that he was no longer relevant, Teephlow—who has been residing in the US—explained his areas of interest.
He emphasized the value of financial stability in a video address, saying that his goal abroad is to amass cash rather than seek celebrity in Ghana.
“I haven’t fell of, I would rather stay in U.S hustle and make money than to remain in Ghan and stay broke. I don’t want to grow old and people will be contributing funds for me. I won’t fall victim to that.,” Teephlow stated.
Teephlow emphasized the value of money over fame, pointing out the drawbacks of being well-known yet in financial hardship.
In an attempt to avoid depending on the public for assistance in his later years, he conveyed his advice to fellow artists not to give up long-term financial security for short-term popularity.
