Ibrahim Mahama, the Chief Executive Officer of Planners and Engineers, has fully funded the medical expenses of a 14-year-old girl, Ayisha Musa, who has been battling a severe stomach tumor for three years.
The businessman’s intervention includes covering the cost of Ayisha’s surgery, estimated at GH¢75,000, along with any additional medical expenses required for her treatment and recovery.
The news was announced by philanthropist Bones Man TV, who had initially appealed for public donations to support Ayisha. In a Facebook update on December 29, 2024, Bones Man TV revealed that the funds raised from the public will now be handed to Ayisha’s mother to start a business and support her family, thanks to Mahama’s generosity.
“BREAKING NEWS: I just received a call from the Office of Mr. Ibrahim Mahama, the CEO of Planners and Engineers, through his aide Rafik Mahama, stating that he has covered all the surgery costs for 14-year-old Ayisha, who is suffering from a stomach tumor. This means that all donations received will be given to her mother to start a business to support the girl. Abusua, help me thank Mr. Ibrahim Mahama for this Amazing Love,” the post read.
Ayisha has suffered immense physical and emotional pain due to her condition, which has caused water retention and severe swelling in her stomach. The tumor has weakened her body and disrupted her daily life, leaving her family in a desperate financial situation.
Her mother shared heartbreaking details of their struggles, including being scammed by individuals who promised to help. “One man in Sunyani raised funds and claimed he would arrange surgery for Ayisha. We sent him GH¢15,000, but he disappeared and stopped answering our calls,” she recounted.
With Mahama stepping in to fund Ayisha’s surgery, her family can now focus on her recovery and rebuilding their lives. This act of kindness has not only restored hope for Ayisha but also serves as a powerful reminder of the impact of generosity in transforming lives.
