I’D RATHER HAVE MORE BABIES THAN ENHANCE MY BODY – Actress Yvonne Nelson

Ghanaian actress and movie producer Yvonne Nelson has shared her views about body enhancement. She has made it clear that she is not interested in changing her body in this way.

Yvonne said she is happy with her natural appearance and has never thought about enhancing her body.

During an interview on Joy News’ Career Trail, she explained that she does not see any actual benefits for women in body enhancement.

“I don’t think enhancing any part of my body is going to help me in any way,” she said.

She stressed that if she had to pick between having body enhancements and having more children, she would choose to have more children.

“If I were to do anything to my body, I would rather have a lot of babies. If I want to find myself in the hospital, it’s because I want to have babies, not because I want to cut somewhere and chip something in,” she declared.

Additionally, she discussed the mental impact of surgery. Yvonne believes that many people opt for body enhancement because they lack self-confidence.

“I feel that it is a mental thing. It is a lack of confidence,” she stated.

Yvonne wants to be a good role model for her children and influence their future decisions positively. She believes changing her body in any way might create concerns for her kids, so she avoids it.

Reflecting on the questions her children may ask her if she does body enhancement she said, “One day you will become a mother, your kids are going to see you. They will go like, mummy in your previous pictures from 1992, your backside was flat. What happened to it? Did you blow it? Is it a balloon? I am not ready for such questions. My daughter is like me, she talks a lot, and she will ask you all the questions. I do not want to answer such questions. I am okay with how I look. I am content.”

As both an actress and entrepreneur, Yvonne also advises young girls to be aware of the negative effects of choosing to undergo body enhancements.

She emphasizes the importance of making informed decisions about their bodies.

“I do not expect any of you to do that, because the minute you do that, it never stops. The minute you alter any part of your body, you would want to alter another part. You would want a fuller lip. You would want a bigger ear. You would always want to change something about you,” she advised.
