“IF YOU STAND FOR WHAT IS RIGHT, YOU DON’T NEED TO ALIGN WITH ANY POLITICAL PARTY TO DO SO” — Actor Fiifi Coleman
As nearly everything in the country becomes politicized, Ghanaian actor Fiifi Coleman urges citizens to assume personal responsibility and advocate for what is right, regardless of their political beliefs.
In a recent interview on Okay FM, Coleman condemned the habit of certain Ghanaians to express dissatisfaction with issues without taking initiative.
“I’ve noticed that many people keep complaining about issues, expecting others to fix them. But why not step up and do it yourself?” he said.
He stressed that integrity and acting ethically should not be associated with any political party.
“If you stand for what is right, you don’t need to align with any party to do so,” he stated.
“Look at IGP Dampare—everyone praises him. You’d think he would have been replaced by now, but he’s still there, working hard and earning admiration,” he noted.
He urged Ghanaians to concentrate on performing their duties diligently and noted that the public prioritizes skill over political loyalty.
“No matter your political affiliation, just do your job well. If you work diligently, Ghanaians will judge you based on your actions, not your party ties,” said Fiifi Coleman.
