The running mate of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, has tagged persons in the Ashanti Region who vote for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as “nation-wreckers”.
Addressing a group of NPP followers at the Manhyia South health walk in Kumasi, Dr. Prempeh fondly referred to as Napo, stated that the NDC has a track record of overlooking the Ashanti Region.
Hence, he thought that supporting the party would go against the region’s interests.
Echoing the NPP’s dedication to attaining 85% of votes in the area, Napo called on supporters to stay faithful to the party and guarantee success in the forthcoming election
