After receiving comments on his wedding post implying he looked unwell and needed medical help, Akwaboah Jnr. sarcastically brushed off the concerns by claiming he is healthy, especially in regards to advice for a kidney examination.
Akwaboah got married to Theresa, his 28-year-old partner, in a private ceremony held in May. Videos from the event garnered attention and feedback, as some viewers noted that the musician seemed to be in poor health.
Some distinguished doctors commented expressing worry about Akwaboah’s health, suggesting he get a kidney checkup to avoid further deterioration in his condition.
In response to the comments during an interview on The Delay Show, Akwaboah, adopting a cheeky and humorous tone, said, “I’ll check my oesophagus instead.”
He elaborated, stating, “For all the times I’ve been posting pictures and videos, nobody noticed I was unwell until my wedding? Let’s be honest with ourselves. Growth comes with its challenges. I have children, a mother, siblings, and responsibilities. Life throws obstacles that we must overcome.”
The musician confidently asserted that he was in good health, stating unequivocally that there were no issues with him.
“I’m fine,” he said in the interview monitored by GhanaWeb.
