‘I’LL RELEASE AGRADAA FROM PRISON SPIRITUALLY IF SHE REPENTS’ – Owusu Bempah
Controversial preacher claims spiritual authority to free jailed evangelist; comments renew public debate amid ongoing legal appeal.

Founder of Glorious Word Power Ministries International, Prophet Isaac Owusu Bempah, has claimed he can “spiritually release” imprisoned televangelist Nana Agradaa from prison if she repents and reforms her ways.
In a video circulating on social media, the controversial preacher suggested that Agradaa’s incarceration has spiritual dimensions and that he possesses the divine authority to intervene in her situation should he choose to do so.
The statement has reignited public discussion around the jailed evangelist, who is currently serving a 15-year sentence for defrauding by false pretenses after being convicted in July 2025 for deceiving followers through a televised money-doubling scheme.
Agradaa, born Patricia Asiamah Asiedua, has filed an appeal against both her conviction and sentence, with her legal team arguing the trial was flawed and the punishment excessive. Despite imprisonment, reports suggest she continues to lead worship activities at Nsawam Female Prison.
Owusu Bempah’s remarks are viewed by many as part of a long-standing public feud between the two religious figures, marked by years of accusations, spiritual threats, and counterclaims. The preacher’s assertion adds a new layer to the ongoing legal and public saga surrounding Agradaa’s controversial ministry and downfall.
