The Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has confidently told the former Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Freddy Blay that he is unafraid of the court as he is armed with the truth.
Freddy Blay has issued a one-week ultimatum to Samuel Okudzeti Ablakwa and TV3 to retract and apologize for alleging his family’s involvement in state capture.
He maintains that his children obtained the property in a legal manner, so the North Tongu Member of Parliament is involved in spreading false information.
“My children have legitimately acquired certain portions of the beach front from the LA Council and where they are operating doesn’t belong to the management of Labadi Beach hotel,” adding that the North Tongu MP is engaging in “cheap propaganda and to court public opprobrium against my sons.”
However, during a press briefing, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa restated his demand for the GNPC Board Chairman to take legal action.
Ablakwa thinks the 1-week deadline is not needed because he has the truth on his side and is not afraid of the court or any judge.
“The truth as the bible say will set you free. If you are armed with the truth you fear no judge, you fear no court. So the Hon. Freddy Blay should stop issuing threats. What we are asking for is to leave the beach front. So these treats he shouldn’t wait for one week, we are ready to meet him in court today,” he said.
