Entertainment pundit cum politician, Kwame Obeng Asare popularly known as A Plus, has said the members of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) cannot prevent him from running as an independent in the 2024 parliamentary elections.
He claims that to prevent himself from running for office and to test the viability of the party’s parliamentary candidate, he is putting out a challenge to the government.
He declared that, as it is impossible, he is not concerned about rumours circulating that he would be barred from running in the legislative elections during the nomination process.
If the NPP is serious about ending their eight-year tenure in office, A Plus asked them to start helping the people of the Gomoa Central constituency through developmental initiatives.
