Ghanaian comedian, DKB has shared his aspirations of obtaining a political position in the current administration, reminiscing about a significant meeting with President John Dramani Mahama that profoundly influenced his career.
While speaking on The AM Club with Kojo Daasebre, he expressed that Mahama’s acknowledgement of him as his favorite comedian was both surprising and humbling.
“I am waiting for an appointment and hoping to be remembered by the President,” he said with a laugh. “I got goosebumps when the President said I am his favorite comedian. It was one of the most unbelievable moments in my life.”
DKB, a strong advocate for the NDC, described how his relationship with the President deepened during a performance at the Youth Safari event held at Go Marina.
He remembered how Mahama not only recognized him on stage but also flawlessly recited two of his famous skits—Pepe Pepe and Fighting in Ghana—verbatim.
