Award-winning Ghanaian actress and philanthropist Vivian Jill Lawrence has spoken up on why she has refrained from retaliating or responding to the numerous waves of abuse she has faced on social media and from her fellow celebs.
Vivian claims that because she is unconcerned with what people think or say about her, she has never responded to any of the criticisms or rumors leveled against her.
In a recent interview with Dave Hammer on Hello Fm, the Kumawood star also known as “Abrewa Maafia,” revealed that she doesn’t have time to listen to those who waste their time on social media yelling and spreading incorrect rumors about others.
She went on to say that even if she chooses to address the accusations and rumors, the worried rants are not going to change their minds about her.
She continued, adding that she has asked God to add four more hours to the day because the 24 hours in a day are not enough for her to pay attention to those rumors as she has family, friends, and enterprises to tend to
‘We don’t live long here on earth, so I don’t let things get to me. If what they are saying is true and they are not saying it well, that’s where you get angry but, in this case, all I hear are false allegations.’’
The famous actress continued by saying that she has come to understand and embrace the reality that her career entails such difficulties and that she is fully equipped to handle them.
