Former Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan has requested Fadda Dickson to pardon Funny Face and forget about past grievances.
During an interview on Peace FM in Accra, Gyan acknowledged that Funny Face may have gone too far with some of his statements, but he apologized on his behalf.
Funny Face and Fadda Dickson, Managing Director of the Despite Media Group, were once close.
Nonetheless, the comedic performer went on a rant against a few of his former friends while going through a difficult breakup with his child’s mother a few years back.
He has continuously insulted Fadda Dickson and has not been seen on any media platforms belonging to the Despite Media Group.
Although Fadda Dickson has not addressed the situation publicly, it is thought that he has severed ties with Funny Face.
Gyan, who has developed a strong bond with Funny Face lately, assured Fadda Dickson that he would bring Funny Face to offer a personal apology if given the chance to reconcile.
“I would like to extend my regards to Fadda Dickson and the entire Despite Media Group. There’s a saying that if your child defecates on your lap, you don’t cut it off, but clean it,” Gyan pleaded.
“I want to apologize to Fadda Dickson on behalf of my brother [Funny Face] for their past disagreements. If you consider the situation, it wasn’t his fault. I plead that you allow my brother to come back and resolve the issues.”
