THE SPECIAL PROSECUTOR SHOULD TRAVEL TO AMERICA AND DETERMINE WHETHER KEN OFORI ATTA IS TRULY ILL – Matthew Opoku Prempeh

Former Energy Minister, Matthew Opoku Prempeh has offered a piece of advice to the Office of the Special Prosecutor, Kissi Agyebeng on how to deal with former Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta.

Matthew Opoku Prempeh affectionately called NAPO told the media in a brief interview that perhaps Ken Ofori Attah’s claim that he is seeking medical treatment following a health condition may be true and probably hindering him from returning to Ghana to aid investigations initiated by the OSP.

NAPO advised the OSP that it would be in his best interest to travel to the United States and meet Ken Ofori Atta to conduct the investigations .

His comments come on the back of some Ghanaians suggesting Ofori-Atta return to Ghana for treatment of diagnosed prostate cancer.

However, the Special Prosecutor Kissi Agyebeng has revealed he has been notified of the medical condition that renders Ken Ofori-Atta unavailable for a scheduled appearance.

Kissi Agyebeng however, revealed that the former Ken Ofori-Atta has not provided any medical report to justify his health concerns.

The OSP also rejected Ken Ofori-Atta’s request for a virtual session.

According to Kissi Agyebeng, Ken Ofori-Atta must present himself physically to the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP).
