Multiple award-winning gospel singer, songwriter, philanthropist, producer, TV presenter, and author, Sonnie Badu has revealed that securing sponsors for gospel events in Ghana is challenging.
During an interview with Kingdom FM, which was monitored by MyNewsGH.com, Sonnie Badu mentioned that he has never earned a profit from any event he has hosted in Ghana.
He claims that many sponsors will guarantee to support your shows but will ultimately not follow through.
“I have never done an event and made profit. I always run at a loss but I am satisfied. It’s a seed I’m sowing. If I don’t benefit from this, my children will benefit from it in the future. I don’t do events with the notion that I will make profits. I run at a loss and I am used to it”, Sonnie Badu disclosed.
