Ghanaian actress Vicky Zugah has shared a personal story about how a childhood accident left her with a scar on her eyebrow, which she says has affected her relationships and how people perceive her. In a video posted on social media on March 13, 2025, Zugah revealed that the scar has caused her to lose potential suitors and face criticism, but she has also found admirers who appreciate her unique look.
Zugah explained that the scar resulted from an accident when she was nine years old. “My mother asked me to buy okro, and I was in a rush to pick a bowl. I slipped, and my eyebrow hit the edge of the table, leaving me injured,” she recounted.
The actress revealed that the scar has influenced how people view her, leading to negative experiences. “Since I started leaving my eyebrow like that, I’ve had a lot of problems with people. I’ve lost suitors because of this mark. I’ve had people look at me in a certain way when I walk into a room and even call me names because of it,” she said.
Despite the challenges, Zugah also shared that some people admire her scar and even try to imitate it. She encouraged others to embrace their natural appearance and be proud of how they look, regardless of societal pressures. “This generation is so used to fake and masking stuff that we’ve forgotten natural things exist. Now, when you see a fair lady, the next thing people think is she’s bleaching,” she added.
