I’VE UNFINISHED BUSINESS WITH GHANA; I WANT TO COACH THE BLACK STARS FOR THE 3RD TIME – Milovan Rajevac

Milovan Rajevac, who coached the Black Stars in the past, has said that he would jump at the opportunity to coach Ghana for the third time and that he would do so with his arms wide open.

In a phone conversation with Akoma 87.9 FM, a Serbian strategist described how, during his second stint as head coach of the Ghana national team, he was unable to devote as much time as he would have liked to assembling the fearsome squad he had envisioned.

According to him, he would be thankful if the nation that he thinks of as a second home would offer him the third opportunity to accomplish big goals with the national team as he has unfinished business with Black Stars.

“No one can predict what will happen in the future. According to what Milovan Rajevac has said, “Ghana is my second home, so if another chance occurs for me to go there, I would give it serious consideration.”

He continued by saying, “The last time I was in Ghana, I didn’t have enough time to execute all I intended to do as I did the first time.” It is imperative that we act quickly if we are to accomplish our lofty goals.

In his second term as Ghana’s head coach, Milovan Rajevac oversaw the country’s poorest Cup of Nations performance in the 2021 AFCON. The Black Stars were eliminated from the competition after collecting just one point and failing to win any of their three matches.

Ghana was eliminated from the competition after the group stage after suffering defeats at the hands of Morocco and Comoros and drawing with Gabon.

The Serbian enjoyed a successful run with Ghana during his first term with the team, as he guided them to the quarterfinals of the World Cup in South Africa in 2010.
