JOHN DUMELO’S NOMINATION FORMS ‘THOROUGHLY INTERROGATED’, ‘CERTIFIED’ & ‘CLEARED’ – Spokesperson

This follows reasons adduced for the indefinite postponement of the vetting of candidates of the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency.

According to a member of the Greater Accra Region Vetting Committee of the NDC, Theophilus Tetteh Chaie, all nomination forms of the three contending candidates – Mr Dumelo, Fred Nuamah and Moses Barfi Acheampong – had “anomalies” and we’re being investigated by the national leadership.

This the camp of Mr Dumelo denies.

“It is important to put on record that, John Dumelo’s nomination forms, were filled at the constituency office in the presence of the constituency elections committee,” the statement said.

“The said filling process was interrogated thoroughly by the committee, certified by the representatives of the committee and cleared.”

Our campaign caught attention by a 3news publication, where it reported that, our candidate John Setor Dumelo’s nominations is being investigated for some “anomalies”

It is important to put on record that, John Dumelo’s nomination forms, were filled at the constituency office in the presence of the constituency elections committee. The said filling process was interrogated thoroughly by the committee, certified by the representatives of the committee and cleared.

We want to bring to the attention of the general public that, our filling and nominations was diligently done, and has no challenges whatsoever, and same was affirmed by the constituency elections committee.

Our campaign followed through all procedures diligently and complied with every requirement as the party guidelines demand.

We are by this statement calling on all our supporters within the Ayawaso West wougon constituency and across the country to disregard any such publications and treat same with the contempt it deserves.

Our campaign is fully resolved, focused and with the singular purpose of winning the 2024 parliamentary elections for the NDC in Ayawaso West Wuogon.
