JOHN MAHAMA ADVISED ME TO STAY AWAY FROM POLITICS IN 2016 – Lilwin

Ex-president John Dramani Mahama gave Ghanaian actor Kwadwo Nkansah, commonly known as LilWin, some advise about his involvement in politics.

President Mahama reportedly encouraged LilWin to stay out of politics if he wanted to be relevant in the entertainment business.

The former president reportedly underlined the possible polarization that political ties might bring and urged LilWin to concentrate on his work and other goals.

On August 14, 2023, LilWin revealed his choice to follow President Mahama’s advice in an interview with Oyerepa TV.

He said he envisioned owning a school and understood that being involved in politics may alienate students from various political perspectives.

LilWin recalled his interactions with members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) during the 2016 election campaigns. But he emphasized that President Mahama had reaffirmed his resolve to stay out of politics.

LilWin apparently received advice from President Mahama to stay out of the political battlefield and let politicians handle their own conflicts. He highlighted that LilWin should stay out of politics because of her young age and bright future.

LilWin’s decision to heed this counsel demonstrates his commitment to upholding his sterling reputation and broad appeal within the entertainment industry while also giving his other ambitions and aims first priority.
