Deputy Communications Director for the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Ernest Owusu Bempah has stated that there will be no changes under John Dramani Mahama.
He predicts that the president-elect will fail as miserably as he did in his first term, which concluded in 2024.
Owusu Bempah made this known while speaking to Oyerepa TV.
He states that one of the drawbacks of the new administration will be a resurgence of dumsor (unreliable power supply) as the existing government will struggle to maintain consistent electricity.
“John Mahama will punish the Ghanaian people. There will be dumsor coming soon. I am in the energy sector, and I know what is happening,” he said.
Regarding Free SHS, he stated that the government will be unable to generate sufficient revenue to fund the program.
“Probably they won’t have money in the coming years to pay for Free SHS and they will be doing waratuwarasa. You heard what Seth Terkper said. He has given us an indication of what they intend to do. They want to test the minds of the people,” he said.
