Ghanaian actress, Portia Asare has vehemently decried the use of black magic known as ‘juju’ in our local parlance by some of her colleagues in the movie industry.
In a recent interview that sparked a conversation on social media, Portia Asare revealed that the decline of Kumawood is a result of juju in the film industry.
She exclaimed how some colleagues bring all sorts of charms and use spells on others because of envy and the desire to see others fail and is killing the film industry because there is no trust.
Portia said until players eschew the use of juju, the film industry will not thrive and become as buoyant as it used to be decades ago.
