Samuel Gyandoh, a member of the National Film Authority’s Board and part of the Film Crew Association of Ghana, has addressed some statements made by Juliet Asante.
Juliet, who is stepping down from her position as Executive Secretary of the National Film Authority, shared her experiences and challenges during her tenure.
In a Facebook post, Juliet revealed that at the beginning of her appointment, she had to use her own personal funds and office space to manage the authority’s operations.
She also described facing hostility from the Board and dealing with sexual harassment from two of her supervisors, among other difficulties.
