KOFI ADOMAH NWANWANII UNDERGOES EYE SURGERY

Media personality Kofi Adomah Nwanwanii has undergone another eye surgery as part of his ongoing recovery from a tragic shooting incident that left him with severe injuries. The surgery, made possible through generous donations from business moguls Ibrahim Mahama and Kwaku Oteng, marks the latest step in his journey to regain his vision.

A video shared on Facebook by his wife, Miracle Adomah, on February 25, 2025, showed Kofi Adomah undergoing an eye examination. Dressed in a black outfit, black glasses, and a white cap, the journalist appeared determined as he continues to battle the aftermath of the life-altering incident.

The shooting occurred several months ago while Kofi Adomah and his team from Angel FM/TV, Kofi TV, and MagrahebTV were covering the Dormaa Kwafie Festival and the 25th anniversary of the enstoolment of Dormaahene, Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyeman Badu II, in Dormaa Ahenkro, Bono Region. During the event, a gunman wielding a musket shot Kofi in the face, causing significant damage to both eyes and requiring multiple urgent surgeries.

To support his medical expenses, a GoFundMe campaign was launched with a target of €50,000. As of February 21, 2025, the campaign had raised €4,339, with contributions from well-wishers worldwide. Gospel artiste Nacee has been actively promoting the fundraiser on social media, urging people to donate and support Kofi’s recovery.

The financial assistance from Ibrahim Mahama and Kwaku Oteng has been instrumental in covering the costs of the recent surgery. Their contributions have provided hope for Kofi Adomah and his family as they navigate the challenges of his rehabilitation.
