Emmanuel Barnes, commonly known as Mr Logic, the Chairman of the Ghana Association of Songwriters, has waded in on the ongoing LGBTQ debate.
Mr Logic is perplexed as to why members of the LGBTQ community need public approval for their sexual orientation.
Mr Logic aired his comments on United Showbiz on UTV on August 5th, adding that members of the LGBTQ community do not demand validation from the public and may have decided to keep their actions private inside their own settings.
Mr Logic voiced his opinion by saying, “I find fault with them because why do they seek validation? This is their problem. If they prefer same-sex pleasure, why would they need someone to grant them a right? They possess the autonomy to do as they wish with their own bodies. They do not need endorsement from anyone to engage in their sexual activities. Gay individuals seem to lack a proper understanding of the rights they possess.”
He went on to say that many people who are in heterosexual relationships also have anal sex, frequently privately.
As a result, Mr Logic questioned the need for the LGBTQ population to seek validation, claiming that the same sexual acts go place without requiring public acknowledgement.
“Engage in these activities privately. Many heterosexual couples engage in anal sex behind closed doors. There are men who practice anal sex with their wives. Some women even derive pleasure from such practices,” Mr Logic further remarked.
