Lil Wayne’s house was raided because he reportedly owes $2 million in unpaid private jet leasing fees to Miami’s Signature Group.
At least some of the possessions that were taken from Lil Wayne’s house were listed by WSVN.
The news outlet reports that police took signed football helmets, paintings, skateboards and one of the rapper’s Cash Money Records plaques.
TMZ says more than one plaque was seized. The site also reports that a valuator went with police to indicate the worth of the possessions and that Lil Wayne’s art collection is valued at $30 million.
Lil Wayne appears to have commented on Twitter on November 4 about Florida police raiding his house the previous day.
“It’s days like 2day dat make me ? everything, even myself But I guess dis is da thx I get.
