LILWIN COMPENSATES FAMILY OF THE 3-YEAR-OLD BOY WHO DIED IN HIS ACCIDENT WITH A BRAND NEW CAR AND GH₵95,000

You would recall that some weeks ago, Lilwin, a popular personality in the Ghanaian entertainment business, was apprehended for his role in a car crash that resulted in the passing of a 3-year-old child.

After being arrested, he was fortunate to be granted bail of GH¢50,000 by the court, requiring two sureties for temporary freedom.

The case was initially delayed because the deceased boy’s family did not show up in court, leading to a postponement.

Nevertheless, according to GhPage, Lilwin has now come to a resolution with the grieving family.

As a stipulation in the agreement, Lilwin has agreed to bear all costs associated with the incident, which includes providing a new Hyundai Santa Fe to replace the father’s wrecked vehicle.

In addition, the actor gave the family GH¢95,000 to pay for medical expenses and related costs.

Lilwin has also promised to help the deceased boy’s siblings with their education and future needs, providing comfort to the mourning family in a sign of lasting support.

Even though the settlement is crucial for dealing with the consequences of the accident, Lilwin is still involved in continuous legal proceedings.
