Empress Gifty, a gospel singer, has expressed her dissatisfaction with the practice of Ghanaians depending on relatives or friends living overseas for financial assistance.
She explained that living abroad doesn’t mean an easier life, saying, “Being abroad doesn’t mean you’re in heaven. Life is a struggle everywhere.”
Empress Gifty implored Ghanaians to avoid laziness and put in hard work for their own success, instead of always relying on money from people overseas.
They are working hard to earn a living, so you should do the same. Use your hands to work and stop relying on others,” she added.
