Ghanaian actor and NPP supporter, Prince David Osei strongly opposes the possible comeback of NDC flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama to power.
In his opinion, the reelection of Mahama would be considered as a disrespect to the people of Ghana.
During an interview on GhOne TV on August 23, 2024, Prince David Osei emphasized Mahama’s long political experience, mentioning his positions as an assemblyman, minister of information, parliamentarian, vice president, and president.
He, however, doubted the need for Mahama to come back, considering Ghana’s population exceeding 30 million individuals.
“Why must it be that one man becomes a president, goes through all the runs and comes back again? It looks like an insult to the whole of Ghana. Are we saying that in the whole country, there’s nobody else that can command the affairs of Ghana? Do we have to bring an ex-president?” he asked.
Osei also condemned Mahama’s performance in the creative arts industry, mentioning that he couldn’t remember any notable accomplishments during Mahama’s time in office.
