MAHAMA NOMINATES 10 REGIONAL MINISTERS FOR PARLIAMENTARY APPROVAL

President John Mahama’s government has submitted a request to Parliament for the approval of 10 regional ministers.

The letter addressed to the Speaker of Parliament outlines and assigns portfolios to the President’s nominees for these roles.

This action is a component of his attempts to restructure his administration after taking office.

The President has announced a decrease in the number of government ministries, reducing them from 29 to 23, as part of an administrative reform effort intended to improve efficiency and simplify government functions.

The most recent document identifies ten nominees selected to oversee different regions in Ghana, along with an official appeal for parliamentary consent as per constitutional requirements.
