Ghanaian cleric, Ebenezer Adarkwa Yiadom, also known as Prophet One, has cautioned President Akufo-Addo to reimburse the funds invested in the National Cathedral before his term expires.
The prophet, fondly referred to as Opambour, declared that he serves as God’s representative on Earth and will intervene to recover that money on His behalf.
The NPP administration led by Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo pledged to construct a National Cathedral to pay tribute to God.
The project turned into a symbol of governmental corruption, with more than $50 million expended and the sole outcome being a pit in the ground that has become a haven for mosquitoes.
Opambour cautioned that before the NPP administration exits on January 7th, 2025, Nana Akufo-Addo must justify that expenditure and, if feasible, reimburse it.
