Actress Martha Ankomah has dismissed the public apology issued by Kumawood actor Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lilwin, as the defamation suit filed against him takes a deeper turn.
Despite a lengthy live video featuring Lilwin, his manager, and lawyers in an attempt to apologize and address the issue, Ankomah remains resolute in pursuing the GH¢5 million compensation for alleged defamation.
The legal battle began on February 14, 2024, when Martha Ankomah initiated court proceedings against Lilwin over viral comments he allegedly made, which were deemed insulting and defamatory.
Although the two parties are reportedly exploring an out-of-court settlement, as per reports by EIB’s Murtala Inussa, Ankomah’s rejection of the apology signals her determination to seek redress and protect her reputation.
The outcome of the case remains uncertain as discussions for resolution continue, with both parties under the public spotlight.
