Actress and multiple brand ambassador, Martha Ankomah, has slapped Kumawood actor, Kwadwo Nkansah popularly known as LilWin with a lawsuit following his recent comments about her that have sparked uproar on social media.
In a scathing rebuke, LilWin accused Ankomah of disrespecting the local movie scene and questioned her star status.
In interviews given in 2017 and 2023, Ankomah expressed her disapproval of the prevalent witchcraft themes in Kumawood films, labelling them uninspiring. Her comments, however, did not go unnoticed by her peers, particularly actor LilWin, who took umbrage at her disparaging remarks.
Martha Ankomah who is displeased by Lilwin’s scathing attacks has dragged Lilwin to court as a writ of summons stating clearly that legal action has been taken against the Kumawood star by the actress as reported by ghkwaku.
